The Potholes part 2 - scenery

Here now some of the more scenic shots from the trip to the Potholes.




The amazingly carved sandstone gorge of Fall Creek.




Some of the potholes are of almost perfect circular shape. It makes you wonder how long it took the a few swirling peoples to carve these amazing sculpures.




And there was wildlife too - on the way up we met this nice little snake. (it was so funky to watch it swim).





The picturesque waterfall.





After our visit to the Potholes we dropped by the highest waterfall in Indiana (imagine that!)



At that time of the year theWilliamsport Falls were a mere trickle, but still nice to look at.
