Elephants and Monkeys

Here are finally the long overdue photos from Kaeng Krachan, the largest National Park in Thailand.



One of the main attractions in the Park is the sea of mist. You have to be there at dawn to observe the impressive spectacle.


I personally got more excited about the animal tracks around the salt lick (see previous post). It was soo cool to see fresh elephant prints all over the place...



And the elephants also left further evidence of their activity....

This really made my day. Along the way we saw a group of about 20 monkeys who played in the trees along the side of the track.


They were very curious but shy. We could watch them from a respectful distance...



.... and take hundreds of monkey photos ;-)
